Hi GHACers,
I'm visiting B'lore this month for an official purpose and will have 3 days of leisure tongue . What better source to find out about short vacations around B'lore than ask our brothers at GHAC!

I'd be going with my wife and our 4 month old daughter, so no big adventure trips smile . A short quite family weekend kind of trips are what I'm looking for. Please suggest a few such places i can visit in and around B'lore.

U can vist Wonderla its abt 25km from b'lore city onto d Mysore rd, Amoeba a game zone @ Brigade rd, a 65 feet Lord Shiva idle near Kidz kemp old airport rd.....
A Hill station called nandi Hills located @ a distance of about 60k from d city is a good destination for a peasefull outing...
Mysore is just a 2 1/2 hrs drive from B'lore, so u can even catch up vh al d palaces, temples n beautiful gardens:)

Visit these places [ order of preference] if 3 days liesure time is continuous , choose any of these quite places.

Waynad [ kerela ] - Don't miss Kuruva Island.
Coorg [ Karnataka ]
Ooty [ TN ]
Shimoga + Murudeswar + Gokarn [ best time would in monsoon]
Chikmaglur [ Moslty trekkign places ]
Agumbe + Kudremukha + dharmastala [ Mostly trekkign places ]

I went to all these places , i suggest Waynad , best place for couples and family people. I am thinking to go with my sis and parents soon :)

Lots of places man... you could try bheemeshwari... masinagudi... kudremukh... depends whether you are going for adventure or with family.... why dont you get in touch with sudhanshu...
