Hampi has been known for its ruins in general. I remember this from my school days, there was a specific lesson on Hampi civilization. Well this is one side of story that is intresting for tourists and history enthusasts.
However, many adventure lovers know this place as one of the challenging bouldering place with a lot of new problems to be sovled. This is what we are going to explore in this very tour. If you are looking for sightseeing only, please do not RSVP.

Now the popular FAQ: What do we want to do in such a historic place?
Trek four popular hills:
- Hemakunta : Small hill - takes 10 minutes to summit
- Matanga : Easy - takes 30 minutes to summit. We will do this on Sunday Morning starting at guest house as early as 4.30 AM and wait for sun to rise on Tungabhadra for great pictures.
- Anjaneya: Easy - medium: Takes 45 minutes to summit.
- Malyavanta: I belive it is also an easy to medium one with road access to summit. We will choose to find a trail and trek up instead of using the road.
All the hills offer boulders with wide vareity of problems. We will choose the boulders on the way up and spend decent time in concurring those.
We are trying to contact bouldering trainers in Hampi. If we get somebody, we would hire a trainer on hourly basis.
Explore ruins on bicycle.
