THUMBURU VALLEY TREKKING AT TIRUMALA GHATS

Thumburu Valley: - A place chosen by RISHIS to do penance in the ancient times. The trek through the canyon with towering hill of more then 200 feet height with a clearance of 20 to 30 feet only between the vertical rock walls climbing over boulders wading through pools of water the two hills join together is an unforgettable experience. See it to believe it.

Pre-historic Rock Paintings & Caves: - On the way Trekkers will have the opportunity to witness some of the rare cave paintings and caves where ancient men dwelt in the pre-historic age.

Starting Travel on 29th January From Secunderabad Railway Station to Tirupati Departure time 6.30pm by Train Name:Padmavati Express, Train No2764 arrival time at Tirupati at 7.00am 30th January.

30th January'10 1st Day :- Travel by bus to Base Camp KUKKALA DODDI VILLAGE. (KUKKALA DODDI VILLAGE situated at 20 kms from Renigunta railway station, 30 kms from Tirupati railway station. TIRUPATI - KADAPA Highway) at 8.00am & Trek to Thumburu Valley - 8 km Night Halt .

31th January'10 2nd DAY:- Trek to Papavinasanam Dam (Tirumala) – 6 kms Trek end.

Travel back to Hyderabad by train from Tirupati Railway Station by Train Name:Padmavati Express Train no 2763 Departure time 05:05pm reaching on 1st Feb'10 morning 5.50am well in time to reach offices.
