First event of the new year. It’s a joy ride to vikarabad, on bikes and cars. This meetup will be a summation of ride/drive, trek, games and talk!

About Vikarabad:
Vikarabad is a summer resort town in the Ranga Reddy District of Andra Pradesh. Vikarabad has it’s famous hills, the Ananthgiri hills, which provides opportunities to trek and gives a scenic and peaceful environment. Hence making it a place to go for a weekend trip. Anantagiri is the place where Musi river originates. The road via chevella upto Vikarabad is flanked by beautiful grasslands and sunflower farms, This startlingly beautiful hill station is an ideal and upcoming summer resort. With ancient cave-like structures and bathing ghats, with the temple of Lord Ananta Padhmanabha built centuries ago by a Muslim king – this is yet another place that bears testimony to the glorious history of the land. Ananthagiri is perched at an altitude where the panoramic vista unfolds stunning viewpoints.

The Schedule:
0600 hrs - Assemble at Nanal Nagar X road Mehdipatnam.
0615 hrs - Start towards vikarabad
0800 hrs - Reach vikarabad, Have breakfast. People can bring their own breakfast if they want to.
0845 hrs - Head to Anantagiri Hills.
9:00-12:00 - Trek at Anantagiri Hills
a. introduction rounds
b. safety and precautions
c. trek activity - 3 hours
12:30 - Reach Nagasamudram lake.
1:00 pm - Lunch Time (People will have to carry their lunch boxes, i believe)
01:30 -05:00
a. People interested in Kayaking can bring their kayaks.
b. Play games which include recreational games with physical activity involved
water volley ball, pass the ball, kabadi, kho kho etc.
c. Will play some good music - courtesy someones Car with good music system!
1700 hrs - Leave vikarabad.
1800 hrs - Chai and snacks somewhere in a dhaba.
1830 or 1845 hrs - Reach Hyderabad.

Expectations from participants:
a. Reach the starting point on time.
b. Taking care of self and pillion rider (on a bike) and passengers (in a car). No absurd/rash driving or
riding. The club or organizer is NOT responsible for your actions. Please take utmost care!
c. No alcohol and No smoking.
d. Strictly No quarrels, calling Nicknames, getting personal or making jokes about anybody - Anybody not
following this rule will be asked to leave immediately.

If coming in own Vehicle
a. Driving License
b. Registration Certificate
c. Pollution Certificate
d. Insurance Certificate
e. Helmet for Bikes
f. Make sure vehicle is in good condition and tuned for long distance

Things to carry:
a. Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks.
b. Water Bottles - at least 2 liters per person.
c. Mat for resting.
d. Valid Govt Issued ID card

What you can wear:
a. Wear light colored cotton tracks and sport shoes for trekking
b. Hat, sun-screen, sun-glasses.
c. Dark Colored Long Shorts or pants and Tshirt for Girls for water games / kayaking
d. Swim Shorts or pants for Boys for water games / kayaking
