Keesaragutta is a hillock at the village of Keesara in Rangareddy District. It is famous for Ramalingeswara temple. Keesaragutta is also an archeological site and excavations have revealed some temples built of brick, rectangular structures with five cells and verandah. The is a archeological museum where the artifacts from 4th Century BC are displayed.

What: Keesaragutta Hill Trek
When: 19th December 2009 6:00 AM
Meeting Point: Anand Theatre Secunderabad 6 AM

We will start for Keesaragutta at 6:15 AM and reach there in an hour, Park our cars just where the road to the hillock begins and will trek all the path till the temple and the surroundings areas in about 2 hours and will be back before afternoon.

Instructions:

#Wear Sports Shoe and Sports Track or anything comfortable
# Get water bottle/fruits/juices/energy bar / something to munch on after and during the trek
# Have a light breakfast before the trek.
# Get your camera if u want to take snaps
# Beware of monkeys on the hillock

Rules:
People with cars will gets preference
A Member can attend only 1 Trek per month, if you have attended or going to attend any other trek in the same month, you cannot attend this trek.

We have 4 cars with seating for 18 people, we will need some bikes too, so all the guys out there come on your bikes. we need about 5 more bikes and don't forget your helmets

Do I have to cancel my RSVP for the Keesaragutta trek on 19th, if I want to be part of the Kudremukh trek and trip on 22nd?

I read somewhere that a person can participate in only one trek per month...
