What the Heck, a trek to durgam cheruvu, Yes that's correct, but the approach will be from Raidurgam bus stop on the mumbai road, it will take 2 hour's to reach till the lake and be back

Meeting Point: Raidurgam Bus Stop - on Gachibowli - Mumbai highway Road ( check the map below)
Instructions:
Be on time
Wear Sports or trekking shoes only ( shoes with ankle support preferred)
The area is full of Boulders, Shrubs and stones
wear loose sports tracks, sando or sleeve T shirt
carry water, fruit juice and something to eat ( fruits , biscuits)

“ As I told earlier...was really exciting and the more exciting & Adventourous part is....I made this trek individually along with pradeep as we were delayed to reach the spot in time By missing the root. We made this trek individually and could meet the team at the end of the Trek. It was a different experience and Team is good ...and a warm up session for New members which was reachable with in city limits...Diyant guess we can organize a claenup drive in coordination with some NGO ” -

Though the approach to this place during my earlier visit was through direct road, I never imagined that my next visit would pick such a different track :) !! Overall, I believe this Trek is a good one for some of the beginners that has offered few tricky challenges of trekking ! ” -

Organiser“ My Third Time as this place, every time I go here I see some of the boulders blasted. The Trek was fun with many new comers participating enthusiastically. we saw lot of birds and some peacocks in the area, the lake is overflowing and not clean as usual. there is lot of litter around it. Its time for some clean up Drive ” -

I believe this is one of the best places in Hyderabad to trek or warm up for difficult treks. Amazing place.
It's sad that few who RSVP'd yes and blocked the places didnt turn up. It's not fair. Please be sure that you can come if you say yes.
i'm afraid i cant make it to most of the meetup's due to my profession.i'm a dentist and i've two private practices.i work even on sunday but only half a day.i dont mind making some time if u can arrange a meetup on one sunday.looking forward to seeing u guys soon.have a gr8 trip.

@muzaffar: If you start from gachibowli crossing, first cyberabad commissionarate would come and then the raidurgmam stop. You would see a right turn there. Look at the map above, raidurgam(red dot) and police commissionerate are both marked.

Can anyone help me with the directions to that bus stop. I know the Gachibowli Road and also the cyberabad commisionarate. I just want to know does this come before or after the commisioner's office.....

Will we trek to Durgam cheruvu and back to the starting point again? Many wud probably want to park vehicles at the Rayadurgam bus stop.
Anyone has suggestions on alternatives on getting to the starting point and not having to go back to it after the trek?
