Staying Indoors? on this Diwali weekend, GHAC comes to your rescue, join us on a 2 days 1 Night trip to Kallem Village.

About 80 Kms from Hyderabad is Kallem Village in Pembarthy, Warangal District, this area is know for its lush greenery and agriculture, We will trek in the surrounding areas, cook our dinner and breakfast, sleep under the sky in tents and have a great time together, There are 2 bedrooms and a living room on the farm, if you are not the outdoors type, you can sleep inside.

Itinerary
17 Oct 2009
9:00 AM - Assemble at Koti Womens College Bus stop on Koti Main Road
Opp Koti Womans College

11:00 am - Reach Kallem Village
11 am -01 pm - check out the local village and surrounding farm lands
1:30 pm Lunch at a local village - taste the flavor of the rural india
2:30 pm - trek out at nearby green hills
6:30 pm - back to farm
7:00 pm - burst some crackers
7:00 - 8:00 cook dinner
8:00 - 9:00 have dinner
9:00 - 11 pm - star gazing
11:pm - retire in tent for the night

5:30 am - wake up call
6:00 am - Break fast
6:30 - 1:30 - Trekking on some different hills
1:30 start for hyderabad and have lunch enroute
4:00 pm reach Hyderabad

Things to bring
Sleeping bag or 2 bedsheets
tents
torch lite
some snacks to eat
mosquito repellent

Rules
No Smoking No Drinking

Damages for petrol sharing and food Rs 250 per head

    Anyone starting from Madhapur-Hi-tec city area ??? Reaching Koti on time is first difficult trek for me..lol...... Reach me on 9966006432 if we can do Auto/Car/APSTRC Bus Pool....-;).

    @ Sudhansu, thanks for suggetsion..based on what you said, it seems good idea... post links/pics of the Lakavaram place...As always, if it doesn't disrupt the entire plan and helps us enjoy more...why not....let's go............

    Hi Diyanat, can we plan a trip to laknavaram while we go to warangal............as far as i know it's a nice place having a suspension bridge connecting 3 islands.........AP govt. is proposing a tourist spot here..........see whether we can include it in the plan.........

    just wanted to mention that we have two bedrooms and a living room, if you are not comfortable sleeping in the tents, please feel free to use one of the rooms.No mosquito probs either as the windows are meshed ;)
