Hyderabad is all set to go 5500 meters above the see level again this 6-23 Nov 2009, The Everest Base Camp trek - Nepal is arguably the most famous trekking route in the world and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see some of the most breathtaking scenery imaginable and should really be in the top 10 of things to do in life.
The schedule is:
Day 04- Nov: fly from Hyderabad via delhi and Arrive in Kathmandu in the afternoon
Day 01 - 5 Nov Kathmandu to Lukla (2800m,30 minutes flight) and trek to Phadking (2700m)
Day 02 - 6 Nov: Phadking to Namche Bazaar (3420m)
Day 03 - 7 Nov: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar (3420m).
Day 04 - 8 Nov: Namche to Tengboche (3850m)
Day 05 - 9 Nov: Acclimatization in Tengboche
Day 06 - 10 Nov: Tengboche to Pheriche (4240m). /Dingboche (4350m)
Day 07 - 11 Nov: Acclimatization in Pheriche/Dingboche
Day 08 - 12 Nov: Pheriche/Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m)
Day 09 - 13 Nov: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5160m)
Day 10 - 14 Nov: Kalapattar and Everest Base Camp (5350m)
Day 11 - 15 Nov: Trek back to Pheriche.
Day 12 - 16 Nov: Trek back to Tengboche.
Day 13 - 17 Nov: Trek back to Namche and Lukla
Day 14 - 18 Nov: Flight back to Kathmandu. (30 minutes flight)
Day 15 - 19 Nov: Back in Hyderabad

Everest Base Camp Trek June 2009
Damages: US $600 ( Rs 30 K) approximate ball park figure per head.
The US $600 fee includes, Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and back, guide fee, porter fee, 3 times food & tea-house/hotel rents starting from Kathmandu to Base camp and back. First Aid, and other essential items.
This is a community and informal group of like minded outdoor enthusiasts, the costs are actual expenses on the trek, No one personally benefits from any contributions, Accounts will be maintained and anything that is left will be returned to the members
Cost Excludes:
Travel cost to Kathmandu and departure from Kathmandu
Kathmandu Hotel stay US $10-15 per day
Travel Insurance (this is a mandatory) US $ 20
Rental for warm wear and trekking shoes/equipment if not carrying one US $ 40-50
Permit and registration fees US $ 20
We welcome all outdoor enthusiasts of all abilities and experience levels. you should be willing to make a commitment to push yourself to meet or exceed what you have accomplished outdoors before, and this includes attaining proper fitness and practice before the actual trek
While everyone is welcome, this trek may not be for everybody, If you don't like climbing hills on foot, or if you are not ready to push yourself a little bit more or If you don't like laughing, sweating, pushing yourself, getting dirty, hanging out in the wilderness with the Nature and/or experiencing levels of exhaustion at the end of an outing then this trek might not be for you.
The Trek is moderate to difficult and requires good health and physical fitness, Age limit is between 21 - 40 years, There is a need to practice & prepare at least 60 days in advance, some of us have already started preparing, the rest can join us either morning or evening or do their own practice
